95 36V Club Car only works in reverse
Hello I have a 95 36V Club Car in my workshop. When i first inspected I found the solenoid to be fauly. No worries fit new solenoid, but now it will only work in reverse and only at full speed no matter where the throttle position is.
Any Help apreciated and maybe a wiring diagram as the owner try to have a look at the wiring himself. I was thinking Controller box or incorrect wiring?? Thankyou |

Hi
No it hasn't got the resistor coil at rear of cart it has a black controller box with CURTIS PMC written on it. |

controller cart, there should be a wiring diagram up in the stickies.........do you know how this problem started............................

It originally came in because he had nothing at all. Except when you put the accelerator down it would click back to the solenoid, but must of obviously had no power getting to the motor. I changed the solenoid as a possible cause. When i did this it would only work in reverse at full power.

You are in the right place... mostly when a controller cart starts up full throttle the throttle input is 180 off from the controller program. Since CC made both 0-5k and 5k-0 throttle devices and controllers..... I think chances are good the OP put a mismatch component in the cart. What's the chance of that?

He hasn't changed any components as far as I am aware. Still the original parts..

Check the throttle input signal at the controller.... it should be 0-5k ohms.
There are 3 small terminals with 3 small wires to the controller. 1 goes to the + side of the solenoid, the other 2 are the throttle input. |
