Default pdonnie

have a 1990 36 vollt club car. it will go in reverse, but not forward. have replaced F/R controller. no help. has anyone had this problem. Thanks for any help

resistor cart? single solenoid or 5 solenoids?.....................................

it has five ive also tested those with a light tester all seem good.

it has five already light tested all check good. can switch two wires on controller and cart will go forward but not back switch wires back back but not forward:

ok if it has 5 solenoids it dosn,t have a controller......the 5th solenoid is for reverse ( furthest right solenoid ) passenger side.....jack the rear of cart up and jump the large post on that solenoid then turn key on put cart in reverse press pedal if reverse works replace that solenoid................i have tested many many solenoids that the meter said were ok but they were junk so don,t put all your eggs in that basket...................if you find that it is that solenoid while your in there disconnect main power and clean resistor coils and buss bar........that just helps it waste a little less energy and not run as hot...................keep us informed because if its not solenoid we,ll go from there..................................
