A friend came to visit and I noticed he was looking pretty hard and often at the tractor..... finally he said "you have both front tires on backwards". No, they are not. We live on red clay, rock, and sand. That thing is in 4WD drive half the time....They pull better that way.

I never thought of that but if one is backwards and the other one right will it pull in circles?

One thing for sure, it is nice to have all the areas of expertise here! Even the expertise to know a tire is on backwards, nccc!

And I am loving my cart. The cool thing is the wife and my kiddo are loving the cart also!

This thread is being nicely hijacked. I love it, and to continue that theme...

Thanks for the reverse info Scotty and shadow.

Maybe I should flip my rears around and see if they bite better the other way.

Anytime a thread is 7 pages, it becomes free to hi-jacking!

I try to help with what expertise I have, even if it is very little. The cart looks great and glad you are enjoying it. I hope to do the same thing to my 99. I hear there is a world of difference between solid state and resitors.

Having the tires on backward will not allow the build up of material to escape the tire.....once full of buildup you will have no traction. The tires are designed to shed buildup .

I thought the same thing when I was growing up and changed the rear tires on one of our tractors so I would get better traction in the field. I ended up getting stuck on top of the mud tires filled up and just sat there spinning
