Default thoughts on a 2006 Club Car

k, heres the thing , im looking at other carts and i wanted input and/or thoughts . I have come across "OFF LEASE" UNITS, and they are mostly 2006 Club Cars with 2009 batteries 2 seats, canopy, no lights, theyre DSIQ... I dont know exactly what this means ? but i wanted to know what a price range would be for one IN YOUR opinion. and if its even a cart worth looking at ect.

thanks

OOPS WRONG SECTION i have an EZ-GO and im just used to being here. please move thanks

If i am not mistaken that is CC version of a PDS controler. Someone correct me if i am wrong. I am more a EZGO guy than a CC guy but they are all good IMHO.

DSIQ = DS Body Style, IQ Drive system. All electric DS cars are IQ system from 2004+ I'd be leery of the 2009 batteries because they're probably the dreaded 12 volts. However, at 1500 bucks a piece I'd say it's worth it if the cars are in good shape.

I bought my 06 CC DS last summer for $1500 with 2010 batteries, so the pricing sounds within reason . . .

Sigh...., you would not get a used cart for that year in my part of Aussie for under about $4000 (from a municipal course) . If the cart is in good nick, go for it.

I'll definitely check for the twelve versus six volt batteries....just wish it had a light kit already....still on a quest for the right car

well, turns out i bought yet another cart, this is my third.and no its not the 06 i started with this thread .. its an 07 CC Precedent. 4- 12 volt batteries, one of with is toast and 2 others are weak .. they're original batts. i'd rather it be 8 volt batteries. but the room obviously isn't there without some mods. its a super clean cart. batteries to come soon along with mods, i don't know whether i will lift it or drop it. wheels are a definite and im looking to change the nose piece. of course other things as well. any ideas of the best battery/best value would be great. and yes i know everyone is on the Trojan band wagon, but i'm all for the underdog battery if the value for what u get is similar or just as good . most auto parts stores put their own name on another manufactures product. and lastly if anyone knows about a deal going on internet etc. let me know

thanks
