Reverse won't go but if I pump gas it slams into reverse
Ok I have a 89 cc lever FNR. I don't know if this did it but the day before I was going in reverse and threw it in forward I never do this and I wasn't goin fast at all when I did. And also a week ago I did wreck it into something but drove fine after.
Now this is what is happening forward works great but when I put into reverse nothing if I pound on peddle over and over quickly it will all of a sudden slam into reverse and keep in mind I have a high speed motor that can go 30mph so imagine peddle to the floor and reverse kicking in I almost when threw windshield lol. I have anew contoller rated at 500 and it's only 3 or 4 months old and motor is only 2 months old. Any ideas |

It's hard to answer this question without knowing more about your system. It's clearly not stock because a controller wasn't available on anything from CC in 1989. Who did the conversion?

I had to replace the ignition switch in my 1987 parcar, harley gar car.
now it will not start in reverse and there is no spark at the plug. Can someone help? |

check all your connections, I had similar issue after cable upgrade and that was the problem.

Maybe I was wrong on year here is the vin number can anyone tell me how to find out the year A9908-748174 and if it had a controller that year

Ok so I guess it's a 99 I'm sorry about the confusion Tahoe but does this help with determining the problem oh and quick note lately I noticed that when I turned lever all the way to reverse that I'd go and hit throttle and nothing but every time the lever wasn't all the way to right it came back a little so I'd have to hold it in place as backed up..... Food for thought
