98 DS wont charge
I have a 98 DS 48 volt with all new batteries and a 4 gauge wire upgrade. The cart was charging and running fine but now the charger does not come on when plugged in to cart. I have checked for incoming voltage to charger and have changed some parts in the charger but still not working. HELP

can you try the charger on another cart? did it work before you changed the wires? what all did you do to the charger when you say you changed some parts?......................................

What is your total pack voltage at the batteries and then at the charging receptical?

Everything on cart worked before and after the full custom job. I replaced the circuit breaker and the relay.

have you tried bypassing the low voltage relay in the charger? if not open charger and do that.....should be directions in the stickies ..........or if you can try charger on another cart but if you bypass relay and charger comes on than OBC is bad............or you can try this.......the grey wire coming out of the rear of the charge receptical take it apart make sure the fuse is good and make sure fuse on charge receptical is good.....anyways take gray wire apart at fuse holder and run a jumper from there to neg. terminal of #6 battery if charger does anything replace OBC..........................

Yes ran the new cable thru obc. I will try the jumper and see what happens. If i can find another club car as long as its 48 volts the year wont matter correct. Thanks
