Ok First Question how do I remove a post? I put in the wrong place I think.
Ok I just picked up another CC it is 89 36 Volt and the Battery's are dead I was going to buy new one's but my Question is this cart ROLLS like it is on Ice I can push it myself and I walk with a Cane it there something wrong with it? The battery's are not in it and it has 1 new solenoid so I did not drive it should they roll this east and would I be better off to change it over to 48Volt's this is only for resale I intend to just make it look great and resell it an hope to make a little money. I was just going to stop at Sam's on the way home with it but thought I better ask first K C PS before someone tells me I am a Idiot I know that this Car has a Netural but it seems like it should be harder to push maybe not and I might be a Idiot just don't tell me I like not knowing for sure!

nothing wrong with it they do push kinda easy..............is it a resistor cart or controller? is there a row of resistors behind where the batteries would sit? that will determine cost of upgrading to 48 volts...............just keep in mind that its not gonna be cheap to upgrade if you have to buy everything ...............8 volt batteries, charger, controller, solenoid, F&R switch, cables, pot box, ......and the list goes on ...........its not something your gonna do for 1000 dollars fact is might be twice that or more..............but theres nothing wrong with doing it.............if its a controller cart it will be cheaper but you might want to just put the money into making it a sweet 36 volt cart...........................................

Can someone explain to me the Up Date for a 48 Volt cart that involves using 4 12 volt and then charging it with a regular home 12 volt charger Please I was just at a Auction that there were 3 Club Cars that had this up date they were selling then as 2008 carts but by the date code they were 06 carts but had this 12 volt upgrade they were trying for $1500 each and the owner said that the battery's were 80% what ever that meas I asked and was blown off on the 80% and the Up Grade as well thanks K C

My guess by 80%, he means the batteries are on the way out w/o saying it outwardly . . . as for the "up grade", CC went to 4 12v batteries for a spell, but went back to 6-8v after many complaints with the 4 12v system . . . many will steer clear of a 4-12v setup unless the price of cart is really good . . . many have converted from the 4 12v setup to a 6 8v setup for added run time . . . some are content with their 4 12v setup . .

I thought that CC had done it he was just talking out his Butt and I am like you about the Battery's going out I asked and he did not answer me about either statement so I stayed away from them he wanted a Minimum price of $1500 each and in fact he had a guy running up the bids and he got stuck with the bid so after about 5 minutes or so they went back to tha cart saying that the buyer thought he was buying something else. The only cart that they sold that I thought was worth buying was a 99 CC with a fold down rear seat that made a platform but a woman bid it up to $1475 and I tested the battery's they were toasted I did not buy it either at those prices I can't make anything selling them I did get a 36 Volt CC the other day though that I have repaired everything on and going to buy the Battery's this AM Later K C

Ok before everyone jumps all over me I know I still need New Battery's But this is driving me nuts. I purchased a new difitial meter so I had better information and what I get is this battery's 1to6 they all test at 8.3-8.2-8.4 so adding it up they should read at 49.4 Volts and testing them in series 8.4+8.2=16.4 etc it goes fine untill I test the last battery then instead of getting 49.6 I get 43.5 and it does not matter what direction I go first to last or last to first it always test at 43.5 I made new cables out of new 4 gage welding cable {I have a spool} so the cables are new also I just can't figure out where the voltage drop is 6.1bvolts just dissapear? even with bad battery's it should test out to a total Voltage right or am I missing something here I also un hooked all out put wires so there is nothing to drain it either any Ideas?????/ I putnew battery's in the 36Volt I bought the other day and it test out correctly what gives?? if all battery's test over 8 volts it should at least read 48 6x8=48 ???

Sounds like a bad cable to me. New or not, it can still be bad.
