Default 98 DS wiring question

I rewired a 98 DS Series today and ended up with a wire that was looking for a home. The wire comes off of a 3 x 12 block that is mounted on to the frame on the driver's side. The block has Club Car on it and I could read the warning HOT on the block. The black wire coming out of the far side of the block goes to the terminal strip to the left of the charger plug. I did not see this in any of the wiring diagrams so no clue as to what it is. The other lead off the block was attached to the controller, but I missed so now looking for which is the correct terminal on the controller for the lead. This is the place for all wiring answers....

Thanks

thanks. I pulled the lead off the terminal strip and no lights, so that seems to confirm the block is a voltage reducer
