My Controller Background
I talked to the guy that gave me the 1991 Club Car 36v. He said that he got on it one day and started to ride. He noticed that it acted like the batteries were dead. Real sluggish and jerky. He pulled up back under the shed and as he hit the throttle to get it over the hump he heard it pop. I blew the cover off of the controller and smoke was coming from the diode on the solenoid. Does this sound like the controller just gave out or does something else sound like it cause the controller to pop?

Re: My Controller Background
Classic controller POP means the controller is dust. Now is a good time for an upgrade
