Sometime 48v DS will not go forward....
Newbie........1998 CC DS 48v
picked up cart real cheap..... New (6 Batteries and wires) Motor is a 3.1hp stock.... Random....Will always run in reverse fine so far, but forward is the tricky one... Push on pedal in forward work half the time... |

Check the forward micro switch. Intermittent failure is common.

well i would suggest what scotty posted 1st....... my thoughts are since theres no problem with reverse it just may be a switch but if for some reason the solenoid dosn,t click you can try jumping it see if cart works, i have not seen one go bad that way but since reverse only needs 1/2 the voltage who knows...its something to pay attention to, was anything done to cart? have you went over wires to make sure all connections are tight at switch?........................

Scotty may be on to something about the micro switch. Very common problem. You may also want to try cleaning the contacts on your F&R switch with WD40 and working the lever back and forth until it operates smoothly.
