Default 36 volt clubcar with v-glide

Cart is running fine then you stop and then try to go again and nothing going foward. I put it in reverse and it runs fine in both directions. I am thinking it's the solenoid. Does this sound correct.

It was suggested by shadowman on this site that i take apart the F&R switch and clean it up and also spray some W-D 40 on it and it seems to be working just fine now. Good luck.
