Default 36 Volt CC Battery Replace or change to 48 Volt

Ok I just picked up another CC it is 89 36 Volt and the Battery's are Toasted frozen etc... I was going to buy new one's but my Question is this cart ROLLS like it is on Ice I can push it myself and I walk with a Cane it there something wrong with it? The battery's are not in it and it has 1 new solenoid I could not drive it should they roll this easy and would I be better off to change it over to 48Volt's this is only for resale I intend to just make it look great and resell it an hope to make a little money. I was just going to stop at Sam's on the way home and buy the Battery's but thought I better ask first
#1 Just Replace the 36 volt battery's yes or no
#2 should it roll this easy yes or no
#3 Change it over to 48 Volt yes or no I don't know what is involved in changing it over it might be a big costly task and not worth it just for resale!

Yes, or let them do it...the buyer. It may run like a champ...it may not. Personally, I would risk it for profit, the older carts are simpler to diagnose and fix up. Hard to ask much for a no battery cart.

I think so. I've had two carts now both CC's and both very easy to push even with Batteries.

I would say no on the 48. It will take a good deal of work and a significant amount of cash to convert to 48. Plus batteries. Good ones run about 700-800 around here.

I am new to the game, but others will be along to add more I hope.

i replied to your other post i thought you said it only had one solenoid but if its an 89 its a 5 solenoid cart so to change it to 48 volts is not going to be cheap...................................

Ok I went and purchased 6 new 6 volt battery's for it I have not installed them yet tomorrow I will. Can someone explain to me the good points and bad that EZ-GO carts have I am looking at a 6 Volt 1 and really like the Brake Locking Pad and the F/R rocker on the dash it would be more user friendly for my handicapped sister to operate like that she has cross motor control along with all of the other issues so for her left is right etc... if you can just put it in a good and bad catagory and tell me I am hoping the GOOD far outweigh the Bad but lets see. K C...
