In my EZGO I have a total of about $4500 invested, but have done ALL of the work myself.

On the project Club Car, I am keeping myself to a strict budget of $1600 to get it all rolling and pretty. I am hoping to turn a little profit on it--that is IF my daughter lets me sell it when its done.

I think I got taken when I bought my cart. It was my first and I am definitely learning. Wish I had spent a month on this site before I bought my cart!

2008 RXV, Jake's 6" lift kit and lights, rear seat, 12 X 23s, and '12s batteries. $4500. Was told it was an 09, but the serial number shows an 08.

Added: EZGO SOC meter, wiring harness for same, 48v to 12v converter, new instrument panel, lighting rocker switch and relay, fender flares, battery watering fill system, and cup holders for rear seat. An additional ~$1200.

I'm in for ~$5700 and have seen some very, very nice carts for that kind of money, but I am having a lot of fun learning and next time I will be smarter.

Does anyone want to buy an '09 RXV for around $6000?

Just over $4200... street legal and to many electric "this and thats". Has all my "lessons learned" from prior experiments. Following up on "auto drive" sytem that I had read about several months ago, saw it on here and then researched. Hope to have final version out in spring, to allow for short distant, no crossing trips... possible provide to sight impaired... will see what we can develope this winter.

Site sponsors provide free stuff???? That would be nice...

I'm new to the Golf Cart world. I bought my wife an 06 Precedent and have been upgrading it since I got it 2 months ago. I'm at around $1500 with upgrades and wanting to do lots more. I honestly never thought much about golf carts until my wife wanted one, now I'm obsessed. The only problem I've had is the lack of instructions on things that I've ordered. I have common sense, so I figured things out, but it would have been nice and saved time if instructions would have been provided.

I have around $5000 so far as I have replaced Motor, Controller, solenoid, custom paint, custom seats, 2awg cables, Aux Battery, Fuse Block, Brush Guard, Rocker panels, diamond plate floor, custom stereo, led underbody lights and led interior lights, custom dash, Allsport 6" A Arm lift, Fairway Alloy 12" Edge Wheels efx tires, and still working on cart as we speak..
I don't know if I will ever be done as seeing all the great carts on here give me so many great ideas I want to incorporate
