Default How much $ do you have in your build?

I thought this would be a fun one to read!

Electric 1985 Club Car total redo: Bought for $50, and now I sit at $3800 with all my upgrades! But it is bad to the bone and I love it. A new $8000 stock cart could not hang with it.

Well, Im up to about 2300 with a rear seat and wheel covers and basic misc stuff for maintenance.

Looking at:
1025 for a solid state upgrade
500-600 for a motor when/if I burn up my 36v...maybe sooner
600-700? for a wheel and tire upgrade?
400+ for some disc brakes
??? Maybe...maybe for a paint job sometime?

MY GOD Where does it end ???

PS...I forgot about the other 1000 for batts and a new charger!

So Far $400.00 for running but stinky, smokey Yamaha G1 cart and $200.00 for engine parts/carb/lines/filters to clean it up and rebuild. I still have to paint (should be free from a bodyshop I trade work with) and install lights, new boat seats (about 100.00 for the pair), indoor/outdoor carpeting for deck, wheel covers (about 100.00 for 4)
All total, I suspect I'll spend $1,000 and have a decent looking golf cart to compliment my camper at our seasonal RV resort. I also plan on including rally stripes on front only. I wish I would have just bought a nice used one. Going to be BBQing the muffler this w/e. Go figure. LOL

Ok here we go.

'98 EZGO - traded a laptop that I got for free with a bad hdd had one at home swapped it in and traded straight across no money in it since then.

'91 Yamaha G2 - traded an old stereo amp and drop down monitor I got from circuit city for $2 when they went out of buisness. Then needed new tires, sold an on 1st gen ipod I got winning a bet for $150 and bought new tires off the classifieds for $80 putting me up $70 then spent $60 on the lift kit stuff and then $45 on new rear spring and $15 on the performance jet. So I'm $50 into it.

'04 Club Car Villager 6 I made a guy a website for his buisness and I took that as payment since he went "green" and got all new electric ones and this one was sitting for about a year no money into it yet (watch for a build thread)

'77 Club Car Carochee was payed to clean up a guys yard and found it in rather good shape. Up graded a friends '98 DS to all 72volt so I have all 48 volt pds stuff waiting to go in it.

'89 Yamaha G2 paid $170 for it with no motor and a running Honda 4 wheeler to help a friend out who needed fast money. I pulled apart my wifes '98 Polaris sport 400 2 stroke wheeler and I'm going to mix the 2 for a sand only machine (watch for a build thread on this too).

That's all I've got right now in order of me getting them.

I paid 300.00 for it when I bought it but I'm afraid to add everything up since I've got it done. I don't want to be in the hospital with a heart attack!!!!!
