Default Chasin' my tail! can anyone help??

See EZGO thread "picked up river house not running ezgo st" post 694690

All this time I was thinking I had an EZGO! Seems easier to post the link to the previous thread rather than repost but im too new to post links :-)

It just clicks when I give it throttle.. I hear a hum from the motor and all 5 solenoids click but thats all....

Anyone able to show me the way to figure out what I got?

Thanks in advance!

Here's some more info about this cart,

Is there any possible way you can get a pic of the whole cart?

I'm not very familliar with the "older" CC's, but from what I see on yours, the motor is on the drivers side of the trans-axle,
(what you have is not like anything that I've seen on a CC... but I've been wrong before!)
I also went through the whole thread you posted in the EZ-GO section,
and I think we are all as confused as you!

One thing though... does it have an all aluminum I-beam frame?
(if so... then it's FOR SURE a Club Car!)

Hmmm. The motor appears to be installed from the opposite side as any Club Car I've ever seen. Is that a Dana/Spicer E-Z-GO rear diff with an EZGO motor in a Club Car!? Blasphemy!

There's a frame rail above the shock, but I can't tell if it's an I-Beam (aluminum) or square tubing (steel).?

Need more pix!

While we're waiting for an answer... Does/did EZ-GO have leaf springs?

I have no clue!

I know the electric ones I've ever been around did. But honestly I'm not around them enough to tell you for sure. I think maybe the gas ones had coils.

The Medalist and TXT lines have leaf springs, gas or electric. I'm pretty sure the Marathons (and older) use coils in the rear.

Sure, I can help ya chase your tail

Gorno's right, the Marathons have the coil springs in the rear. The shock mount to the axel is interesting to me....... but still doesnt help me identify?
