Default 98 club car 48v reverse problem

I have 98 CC 48v series model ds. operates fine forward but wont go in reverse. Solenoid clicks but no movement. I replaced the f & r and the micro switches but no luck. Any ideas.

Reverse the white and black wires on the rear-most micro switch and see what it does. If you lose forward, but re-gain reverse you'll need to replace/bypass the half-speed resistor. It's located about 6" deep into the wire loom attached to those same black and white wires.

That's a sneaky place to put it!

Sounds like you need to replace your F&R switch. Take it off and inspect the contact, front and back. You'll have to remove it to see the front ones. One of them is likely burnt/melted.
