Default Slow club car

I have a 36v club car with large off road tires, the problem is this thing is slow. I had a yamaha g14 upgraded to larger tires and it got faster. I've heard about cutting down the wire on the last solinoid will make it go faster. Is this possible and will it work? If so can someone give me details on how to do it. Thanks

I don't think cutting down the last resistor coil will increase your speed. The resistor coils are out of the loop at wide open throttle.
Your it G 14 was a completely different type of drive system.

i take it from your post its a 5 solenoid resistor cart? if so thats part of the issue you,ll need to think about upgrading the speed system to get any kind of gains.........................................

Scott, I currently run 23" tires, plan on doing off road when I hunt. I got a rear seat and when we go camping family all rides. What do you suggest
