Default 1983 36v club car purchased

I just bought a 1983 club car, 5 batteries were replaced last year and one battery from 2005. That battery obviously needs to be replaced. but my question is: What kind do you all think I should get? yes, I'm new and have NO clue. BTW, the cart is gonna be used for camping...in mint condition with backseat, radio and I landed it for only $600. I can drive it for a few miles but then when I notice the horn doesn't work anymore i know it's starting to run low. Thanks

Get another battery to match the others ASAP. One old & weak battery in a pack can cause over charging of the good batteries.
Get some type of meter on the cart, analog, digital, which ever you prefer. Running the batteries down below 50% of their capacity is not recommended for the longest useful life.
I hope this helps.

Not to pump up scottyb, but his digital meter works great, dead on accurate, otherwise I was in a guessing game when driving if I would make it home.
