Default Lift issue?

I recently put a 6" a-armish lift on the 99 DS. For some reason though (poor quality of the lift?) the tires dont "line up". If one is straight, the other is slightly turned. The lift has adjustable camber, but thats the only adjustment I can see on it. Anyway, here are some pictures......any ideas?

The tie rod ends must have some threads to adjust?

Dooms is correct, in your first pic, there is a good pic of your tie rod. You need to loosen the nut on there, from there you twist your tie rods so your tires are lined up, adjust them to 1/8" to a 1/4" toe .

A lot of instructions refer to this as "adjust your steering linkage to set the toe-in". Camber is lean angle of the tire/wheel.

You have excessive Toe-In(tires closer together in front)Measure from the same spot in front and behind the axle,on the rim-bead(preferably at spindle-height)You are looking for the measurement to be 0 to 1/8" less in front of the axle than the measurement behind the axle.Hope this helps.

Can the toe affect only one side? When i adjust the tie rod im guessing the cart needs to be lifted?

On a side note, i need bigger tires. I have 205 50 10 on now, what size will fit these rims? Not very savvy with the tire/wheel deal......anyone need some pretty new 205 50 10 tires?

Yes,Toe can affect one side,It should be set with the cart on the ground.Set one wheel straight ahead, and look at both tie-rods.If for ex. the left is straight and the right is turned out,it needs to have that tie-rod shortened. If there isn't much adjustment, look at the left and see if it can be adjusted,if so,set the right wheel straight and adjust the left.Don't worry about the steering-wheel being correct. It can be removed and turned to straighten it after the steering is corrected.Hope this helps.

It's an optical illusion. Toe affects both tires equally. Let's say your left tire appears to be toed in and the right tire is straight. Turn your wheel 1/8 turn to the left, now your left tire is straight and your right tire is toed in. It's all according to the position of the steering wheel as to how it makes it appear to the eye. However, take the advice of the guys on the board. Adjust your toe properly and you won't see any toe issues at all.

It can affect just one tire,if your steering box is centered and one wheel is straight.
