Well, 36v to 48 volt conversion coming soon now
After talking with Scottyb, parts are on the way to not only convert it to a controller cart but also to 48volts. I need new batteries so mine as well swap for new 8volt batteries
Again Thanks Scottyb for all your help and patients with my million questions |

May be a real horrow show in my case. Congrats on the new ride gator! Man you got a helluva deal on that thing. One part of me is looking forward to doing this and the other part wishes I could just take it to ScottyB and have him do it. |

Gator what are you going to do with the old 36 volt stuff, I have a 91 DS 36 volt I got that was in similar shape as yours when I started but I never got a charger or batteries. I was hoping to find a deal since ultimately I want to do exactly what you are doing with the SS control and 48 volt conversion.

Re: Well, 36v to 48 volt conversion coming soon now
I am thinking Scottyb will be getting a phone call from me tomorrow. I have been reading all day and think I am bypassing 36 volt all together and putting 48 volt battery pack in. When the 36 volt motor goes then would be a good time for the SS controller and motor change. Guess I need a 48 volt charger since I got a 36 volt and 2 24 volt chargers off of craigslist.
I tell ya this stuff is addictive. Im hoping to take my cart to a social event this Thursday so I need batteries and a solenoid quick! |

Re: Well, 36v to 48 volt conversion coming soon now
I did the 36 to 48 conversion and love my cart. It has a 4 inch lift and 22 inch mud tires and will spin them on take off. I bought all my stuff from Scotty also.
