Still Need Some Help With a Problem Cart Please
I am still having a problem with a finicky cart. Sometimes, not always, when you push the pedal, you get nothing. You can release and push again or maybe 2 or 3 tries and then it will go. It will also stop sometimes in the middle of running perfectly. You can again release the pedal and re-engage it and it will go. Somedays it will give me no problems at all. I have new batteries with 51.5 volts, new controller, new solenoid, and new speed sensor. What could be the problem? Could it be something in the motor itself or the vglide switch. Any help would be much appreciated.
Here's my specs: 2005 Club Car DS Elec IQ 48 Volt Regen Thanks in Advance! |

Re: Still Need Some Help With a Problem Cart Please
the attached wiring diagram will give you some test points .
switch tow/run to tow first Disconnect the negative lead off your battery pack before using an ohm meter to test . for instance an ohm meter between #6 and #10 on the controller connection will test for the micro switch closing when you step on the gas |

Thanks I'll check that! From reading around on the forum, looks like it might could also be the pre-charge resistor on the solenoid. I'll check that to see if it is loose or broken and I'll report back.

Do the test that ForBruce was discussing earlier in the thread. That will test to make sure the micro switch in the MCOR is closing when the accel pedal is depressed. If it's not, replace it. Part number 102101101

the micor (microswitch) is located under the floorboard. you have to remove the pedal assembly when replacing it... but you probably can just do "DAWGS" test with the paper clip without having to remove it . |

OK I think I'm with you now! If I determine i have a bad switch then I need a new $150.00 MCOR part # 102101101?
By the time I replace everything on this cart I believe I could have bought a new one cheaper! Sure is an expensive hobby! Thanks again for the help - I'll report back! |
