Default Club car with no power

I have a unknown year club car that I need fixed. The batteries were serviced oct 2011. Checked all the connections and the wiring seems ok. Terminals clean. It ran good, then we went to get on it one day and it wouldn't do nothing. Charged it up and it was fine, but gradually lost power. Now it will hardly go up a small hill. On flat ground you can go pretty fast but it takes a while. Reverse is fine, and has plenty of power. Any ideas on what I should check?

Not sure of the year. It has a solenoid, and some kind of ingnition or controll box in the rear

eliminate the batterys first

buy a $5 hydrometer from an auto parts store and then check EVERY cell (water cap) for a reading....

a chain is only as strong as its weakest link..... one bad cell can puill down your entire batt pack....

Aight I'll pick one of those up tomorrow after work and test em out. Headlights and tailligjts work fine. Sometimes when you let off the throttle it still goes until u hit the throttle again

look on the dash about center lower area should be a tag the 1st two #,s are the year.....than we need voltage.......count the water fill holes in each battery.....3 fill holes=36 volt 4 =48 volt...........or the cord that plugs into cart is it round? or a crows foot type? after you get voltage figured out then go over batteries and cables..............you want cable ends very clean and tight and you want battery voltage from each one........you,ll need a digital voltage meter, if your capable you can load test each battery and also check each cell with a hydrometer...........you need to make sure you have good voltage and that it holds voltage and no batteries are failing under load................................

4 fill plugs in the batteries. Also when it's charging I can hear the batteries bubbling. Is that normal?
