Re: what is best type of lift kit
Either the factory lift (AM10755) or a nice Jakes or All-Sports lift kit. However, with your car being that old it may have the oldschool steel hubs on it and you may not be able to find an aftermarket kit that will fit it unless you change your spindles and hubs. Price wise the factory lift would probably be best for you if that was the case. Off-Set rims must be installed when you install a wider tire. The tire only has about a half of an inch between the inner sidewall and the spindle to begin with. If you put a wider tire on your stock rim you're gonna be rubbing on the spindle.
