Default security key pad troubles

i have a 03 club car ds, with a security keypad. when i turn the cart on and enter the code the light turns green, depress the throttle and the keypad kicks the solenoid out and light goes back to red. if i ease the throttle down the cart will move, but if i give it anymore than 1/4 throttle it shuts down. would this be a solenoid going bad?

sounds like you have a battery problem causing a voltage drop (when you depress the pedal hard )that's below the operational voltage threshold of the security keypad....and the keypad reboots back to startup position namely "OFF"

is the keypad powered by the entire PACK voltage (48volts ) or does it take power off one battery only (12volts)

is there a name on the back of the security keypad...

i should have checked that first... yes i have a bad cell in one battery. thank you. i have another question on a ruff-n-tuff. but no page for that one... ever hear of turning the key on, cart does not move, turn the key off then back on and the cart shoots off on its own? curtis 1265 controller, jiachen pot box, i erase fault history of throttle fault, turn the tow switch off and back on and comes back with throttle fault, but in the programmer shows 0-100-0 when throttle is pushed and let go..... it has me stumped on the pot box bad or controller.
