Yes I did... I also said to move your reducer positive feed wire back to the red side of the keyswitch. I had no idea there was a thread on this. 27 PMs later.. lol

So by moving the reducer wire back to the positive side of the key switch the reducer will always stay on????

So you want to leave the reducer on? I thought he wanted to turn it on with the key switch...
If you are using a hot lead form a fuse panel why would you need a relay?

In order for stereo memory to function properly reducer must always stay on. In order for stereo to turn on by key he must use a relay on red wire of stereo. He's gonna have to make a sacrifice somewhere. He's either got to do without memory or leave the reducer powered up, which I recommend.

Now I see why you would need the relay if you where leaving the reducer on and turning the radio on with the key.....So, many ways to wire to go in the same direction. I guess leaving the reducer on full time will do less damage to the batteries than using 2 of them for the radio's memory.

Will the reducer run hot from being on all the time and how long will it last if it has to stay on 24 hrs a day? Thanks for all the help guys !!!!!
