Lights not working on '09 Precedent
OK, I have to admit - I'm an IDIOT! The lights "were" working and then my left tail light stopped working. I decided to poke around a little bit, which was a stupid idea, and I found the little blue wire (female end) from the light assembly attached to a small battery cable (male end)- I checked the fuse and it was fine, but then I pulled that blue wire and plugged it into another small battery cable (that was blue as well) and then BOOM - all the lights shut off! Not working anymore.
The fuse is NOT blown, but the lights don't work. I'm not a mechanic and I hate this kind of stuff. Do I need to buy an entire new light kit or new bulbs or what? Sorry for being so non-mechanical with the way I wrote this thread. |

Test your headlight bulbs . . if tail lights are led, you may need to buy new rear lights . . .

Re: Lights not working on '09 Precedent
You plugged it into 48 volts. The other blue wire is the 48 volt lead from the whole pack.

Seems you may have just blown all the bulbs. Remember before plugging things in check voltage 1st with a DVM.
