04 Club Car Precedent goes forward but no reverse

04 Club car precednt will go forward all day long but will not go in reverse. when in reverse the solinoid will click but nothing will happen.

i have theoppisit problem with my 01 carry all.
just installed new 500 amp controller and new f and r and new solinoid

now no forward

Does the reverse buzzer work? If so, that eliminates the F&R switch as the problem. Check the small 10 gauge wires that run from the controller to F1 and F2 on the motor. If one of them is unplugged you'll lose reverse or forward, depending on which one. If they look good, swap them on the controller. Motor should then run backwards while the F&R is in the forward position. Once you confirm that the motor truly is capable of running in reverse, you can then narrow your problem down to a definite controller issue.
