Re: Roof mounted solar panel
Hey Steve, agree and that I don't see how many watts each panel is.
I was told the big problem with these is that there in no controller that can convert the panel voltage to the 36 or 48 pack correctly. Also was told you need about a 200 watt panel to really run it all day. |

Re: Roof mounted solar panel
How much power does the Thin Film Amorphous Silicon Solar Panel provide?
This breakthrough technology eliminates the old thinking that the amps produced is exactly what you have to charge your batteries. The “Triple-junction” technology producing from three different levels seems to provide extraordinary amounts of energy the more your cart demands. We are seeing in some cases days without charging. The Thin Film Amorphous Silicon Solar System is designed to charge a 12-24-36-48-72 or 96 volt battery systems by supplying a minimum of 2.0 amp +- amps constantly directly to a 36 or 48 volt battery bank. Extended tops systems will supply a minimum of 7-10 amps constantly. Our newest technology being delivered in two and three separate thin line panels has the potential to deliver up to 7-10 amps. When the vehicle is in direct sunlight, the battery is constantly recharging itself through the solar panel and unlike those old, heavy solar panels; our thin film amorphous silicon solar panel will continue to charge even in cloudy and shady conditions. |

Why not say who you are initially? OK, for a 48V battery bank what is the cost? If the bank was at 50% how many hour to full charge? |

Re: Roof mounted solar panel
I have no affiliation with company, and I don't know anyone from the company. That info that I posted was copied from the FAQ section of the website.
I am currently waiting on price quote. I also have my CPA checking on tax rebate info for solar power. I will post what I find out. |
