Default Club Car will not go forward

My Electric Club Car will not go forward. Only in reverse. Do I need to replace the forward power wire? If so, where can I buy those wires?
The Serial Number is AB0330-302986. Is this a 2003 model?

If it is a 36v resistor coil cart check your F&R micro switches..... the forward switch may not be working. Simple fix.
If the switch is working then the F&R may be compromised, replace it.

Thumbs down Re: Club Car will not go forward

just experienced the same problem on a 2001 rebuilt in 2006. was playing golf and once it would not go forward. after that it seemed to run ok. then the problem started recurring. when i finished the round and stopped at the club house the reverse worked fine and then after about twenty tries turning off the key and cycling the fnr switch it finally moved forward and i made it home. each time i pressed the go pedal there was a click but no movement.called my dealer and he is picking it up today.
heaven help me if it repeated the problem while my wife was using it.
as would be expected the cart seems to be working fine now . tested it about twenty f n r cycles.
batteries are fully charged and reverse works fine. forward seems to be harsher now.
will have to see what dealer finds and will post results.

. . . many times advice about "cleaning contact points" seems frivolous/redundant, but with these electric monsters, one always has to start with the basics when troubleshooting . . . glad you got it fixed . . .

Thumbs up Re: Club Car will not go forward

Problem Solved! I just picked up a DS Electric, put new batteries in it, and had only reverse. Joined this forum, found this thread, THOROUGHLY cleaned my F-R switch, and voila! Thank you.
