Default 2001 48 volt club car, possible motor problem

when I try to go up a steep hill, motor cuts out for a split second does this have some kind of equalizer switch on this thing, it runs fine on level ground

Welcome to BGW!

Doesn't sound like a motor problem. It should do it all the time if it were a motor problem. Check all your connections on the batteries, controller and to the motor...you could have one dropping out under load.

I have a 99 CC and it was doing the same thing.....It was a loose battery cable!!
