Headlights going out at full throttle

Hi, usually just putt around the yard, last week went to a neighbors house at night and when I floored the accelerator the headlights went out, if I eased up just a little they would come back on. They are the Precedent factory style lights wired to the pre wired pig tail, is this normal? TIA

. . chances are they connected to a single battery . . what year? 4 12v batteries? . . . check the specific gravity in the cells of the battery lights are connected and load test it also . . if you have the 4 12v setup, you may want to consider installing a 48v-12v reducer/converter to share headlight load with entire battery pack . . .

It is an 07 with original 12v batteries, I understand them going dim, but completely off when floored can't figure out. Is is connected to a single battery, if I let the pedal up just a bit it, lights com back one

. . . might be too much of a strain on that single battery . . . load test that battery . . . or try moving that battery to a different location in the pack . . .
