Default question about lift

Ok, I know I have asked this several times but I think I may have figured out something.... When a cart has a lift on it are the springs in the rear normally on the top of the axle. Mine are on the bottom.. I am trying to get the rear of the cart to sit a little higher off the tires. I was told that the leaf springs should be on the top of the axle.. if so, how would I go about this.. I have a 04 club car. If you have one that has the leaf springs on th top could you post a pic of it for me...thanks.

'Jakes' makes a lift kit which remounts your springs on the top of the axle
If you need just the rear kit let me know....

Stock the springs are on bottom of the axle. When a lift kit is installed the springs are on top of the axle.

Mechanically speaking, you should realize that to do this install you need jack stands and a floor jack. You will be taking the rearend out and putting it back in? If you are confident about that......Call our sponsors and order it up!

nothing is welded under there....that you need to worry about. Aside from the shackles being fused with bolt in the mounts and need to drill them out, it's easy, buthey that's all the fun. Floor jack, jack stands, some air tools...that's the only drill that will fit to do the job. I had to sawzaw my bolts off and drill them out, maybe you'll get lucky. If ya need any help,...just post. Good luck.
