Default Powerdrive charger just clicks once, but needle doesn't move

Just noticed that when I plug in the Power Drive charger to my Club Car DS, wait about 5 seconds, the charger makes one click sound, but the needle does not move and there is no humming sound. What does this mean?

Sorry, if I should provide more specifics on the exact model of charger or what not, let me know and I'll go find it.

Thanks

This is usually the symptom of lack of AC (Wall) Power. Check your outlet and confirm that it works. The circuit breaker would be the next thing to check. You can check it by unplugging both wires from the back of it and checking it with a continuity tester. If it checks good, the relay may be defective. What model charger is it just out of curiosity?
