I have a 2001 DS and the batteries are completly dead and the charger wont turn on when hooked up, the charger wire is good and the inline fuse has been replaced, is there something im missing, I tried the charger on a differnet cart and it charged just fine!

Re: CC DS wont charge
Battery pack voltage needs to be at least 38v for charger to turn on . . you can use a conventional 12v battery charger to bring up the batteries individually to enable the cart's charger to turn on . . only charge the individual batteries long enough with 12v charger to bring them up to about 6.5 volts each . . . DO NOT leave batteries unattended while doing this process and monitor them with a volt meter . . . do not allow them to overcharge . . . once they are reconnected as a pack, the golf cart charger should kick on . . . and 08 batteries are still 4 years old . . .

Re: CC DS wont charge
Also make sure all your batteries are topped up with Dist. water. If the fluid is below the plates. That's not a good thing either!!!!
