Default How can I get my Precedent to go faster?

My 2004 Precedent seems to be slow. It is a stock golfcart that seats 4. What is recommended to help it go faster?

There is an assortment of different things you can do.

Different motors, controllers , gearing....etc. One simple thing is I "think" you can take it to a Club car dealer and have them re-program the controller for more speed. You have to take it to a dealer as no one else has these programmers.

You could go all out and rip out the electronics and start over and use an aftermarket controller. This will allow you more flexability when chosing a higher HP motor.

Lighting redesign A.K.A EMP Motors can possibly rework your existing motor to work with your stock controller and net you some more speed. Don't quote me on that, call and ask for Chuck or Andrea and explain what you have and what you want your cart to do. Be realistic with your expectations...Speed Cost's money.

roady we have one in our shop and were not a club car dealer ,i can sell you one if like they are around 700.00 dollars and you can adjust any setting on any IQ system. high speed setting #4 you must buy from club car direct for 75.00 dollars that gives you 19.6 MPH and we charger 50.00 dollars to install
