Default 2008 club car won't go and battery light flashes

My cart car stopped running and the battery light will come on for 45 sec and stay out for 15 sec. I can charge it fully and it still will not run. The battery meter will drop to 75% in 2 hours. Do I need to add water to the batteries? I'm not sure where to go from here?

You need to check the battery water and fill as needed to cover the plates every 30 days or so.
If you have not been doing this on a regular basis then you may need new batteries.
Lack of maintenance will reduce the batteries useful life.

1/2 way between the top of the plates and the bottom of the plastic filler neck. Use a flashlight if you have to. You have to check every cell, they don't flow through. It is recommended that you use distilled water only, available for under $1 a gallon at most grocery stores. If you overfill, they will overflow while charging and make a mess on your floor and eat at your battery tray.
It's best to check after charging when the existing water is already warm and expanded to it's maximum.

Hopefully you don't need too much water!!
