looking for wiring diagram for older 48v club car
Just bought a project and am looking for a wiring diagram for 48 volt club car cart. I think it is one of the early cars. The last 6 of the serial numbers are 627840. First post any advise would be great. Direction would be better. Thanke in advance.

It's the first set of numbers that tell you what year and model. The first 2 letters are the model (see link below). And the next 4 numbers tell you the year and week it was built

Re: looking for wiring diagram for older 48v club car
Hey this site is great, already getting feedback. The first 5 of the serial is A9752. Just found out it is a 1997 DS. Also found out have like two sets of wires and no batteries. A second brain and no batteries. Two solinoids and no batteries. This is just getting better all the time. The brain says it is a 48 volt system. Is there any link or other info on wiring as far as color code, a diagram or schematic I could find to see if the thing was hacked together so when I buy some batteries I don' short them out or worse?

Look there you can also try and look at the solenoid to see what voltage it is rated for that will get you a heads up.....look at your componets and compared to the sticky above |

Re: looking for wiring diagram for older 48v club car
It varies on year and type. My ''07 does not have one for a main fuse, but it does have one at the charge port and a small bullet one for the OBC.
If you are referring to regular accessory fuses, that varies too. Older DS's have them in front of the batteries under a black rectangular case. Mine are up under the front cowl. They again differ with year and model/style. |
