Re: bypass computer for charging
you do realize once you bypass the OBC you have to buy another charger right? .............................................

Re: bypass computer for charging
thanks for the reply.
i tried the diagram but did not work. my color codes on my solenoid are blue and a blue with white strip. i understand disconecting the obc grond at the controller.iam not sure on the positive solenoid why we ground its terminal. if i have the obc ground off the controller cant i just run a ground from the ground side of the charge plugin to the neg on baatery pack? since the positive from plugin goes straight to positve on battery pack. or will i damage the obc? thanks for the help |

Re: bypass computer for charging
You have a aftermarket automatic charger. This renders the OBC useless for your needs. The OBC provides "Ground" to the ground side of the solenoid. This is to keep you from driving off with the charger still attached. Bypassing the OBC would require a new ground to the solenoid. Make sense?
