Warning beeper/signal when charging

Wife was driving my 2008 electric club car precedent when the cart slowed, started bucking and then died. Now towed home and when I plugged in the charger, I receive the 5-10 second start delay from the charger as expected but when the charger starts it's cycle, the cart begins a fast paced beeping sound, the charger initially jumps to 10 then quickly falls to a 5 and the gauge on the charger bounces between 4 and 6, and the battery warning light on the dash begins faintly flicker. Ideas as to the issue?

Also, found parts and owners manual online but no trouble shooting guides. Does anyone know if club car or others post what the warning lights and sounds mean?

Check to make sure all of your battery connections are tight

Checking each of the connections was the first check. All of the connections are tight. Not the problem but appreciate the reply.

did you switch it to tow mode before towing it?.............................

Took it to the shop. The beeping sound never occurred in either shop but the diagnoses.... drum roll please.... new batteries.

Battery issues seem to cause about 75% of problems.. Glad it's solved...
