Default Club car jumpy

RePlaced motor controller on a
Club car rebuild and it was working great before and right after build. Then it started to get jumpy and almost no power. Charged it recently and worked fine right of charger an then got I point where it wouldn't pull it self back to garage. The bateries are 2008 so I am wondering if the batteries are the issue or if it could be something else. Like maybe the relay? Hate to buy new batteries if that is not the issue, knowing I will need some batteries soon though. Any thoughts? 2002 club car ds iq 48 volt.

Do a load test on the batteries . . . sounds like they are getting weak . . .

Sounds like maybe a bad battery. Load test will work or check each battery voltage 12 hrs after charging.

My brother posted this for me... I have now checked the batteries and got from 9.6 to 10.2 (this was with charger on as I read to check them that way). I am going to check them again 12 hours after the charge is over to see what it says. I know you want 9.3 or higher...

Any other thoughts yet ?

Thanks.

Take them off charge and disconnect them from each other to get a true reading. Unless someone has a better idea?

Ok, I tested the batteries this am after they charged last night. I first tested all batteries hooked up and then I unhooked them all and tested them. The readings were no different. all batteries read 8.4V. I had read somewhere that they should be above 9.3. So my question is are the batteries the problem? The batteries were bought in 2008. Any thoughts ?? Just want it fixed so if I need new batteries no big deal as long as it runs again.

Ok, brand new pack fully charged 52.5, 8-7 to 8-8 per batt. Never seen 54 on any pack?

so if yours are 8.7 to 8.8 per battery and mine are 8.4 that shouldn't be the problem... hmmmm???
