Default newbie to the form have issue's

bought a cart today and the man told me it had a bad wheel bearing ,the cart has sat for 6 months,I took the drums off and sanded the rust off ,sound is still there. but the bears are tight from wha i can see,it is electric and the reverse doesnt work but lookd to have a wire off.so upset i thought i was getting a deal but i think i bought me alot of probloms.please help if you can thank you!

You won't fix a bad wheel bearing by sanding rust off of the drums.

I had a bad wheel bearing, it's not any different from a simple car, or trailer axle. Easy to fix, just take a good look at it.

As posted above, let us know what model cart you have, and maybe we can post some parts diagrams, and helpful advice.

yes need more info......year? voltage? any modifications done??..........................

Ok it is a club cart a 1995,I took the drum covers off yesterday and gave it gas on the jack stand it it still makes the grinding noise.it drives fine but sounds bad.I changed the fluid in the rear end to see if any metal was in it but not at all. so what do you guys think.it is electric belive 48 volt

Bad Bearing. Front left rear left.... did previous owner tell you which bearing was bad?

No reverse. Go to this sticky and determine what you have. series or powerdrive. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...gen-system.htm

You think its 48 volts. How many batteries and how many fill holes are on top of one battery.
