Default Precedent Horn Install

I recently ordered a horn kit to install on my 2005 Precedent, after market light kit. The horn kit includes a stainless steel horn, wiring harness and a floor mount switch.

Reviewing some on line information about the mounting of the floor switch, they elude that there is already a 15/16" mounting hole on the club car. I am unable to see any pre-drilled holes on the slanted part of the floor board.
Can anyone confirm there actually is a pre drilled hole somewhere?

If not, im planning on drilling the 15/16" hole in the slanted floor board to the left of the break pedel. Anyone see an issue with this location for mounting?

Any other tips on installing a horn kit i might not be aware of.

(cart has a club car 103700302 voltage converter already installed by my local CC Dealer)

Thanks
Dave

Dave,

A couple of things to consider before drilling the hole and installing the horn button on the floor.

1) Have you or will you ever install turn signals? If so most have a horn button on them.

2) Have you or will you ever install an aftermarket steering wheel? If so most have a built in horn button.

If your considering either of the 2 mods above in the near future I would hold off on poking a huge 15/16" hole in the floor....just my 2 cents

Good luck!

Randy

Those are both very good thoughts, i really had not thought about any additional future mods, so your comments will give me an opportunity to think about a both of those.

Thanks for the reply.
