Default Regen II wiring

I bought a 2001 CC DS stretched cart and I think the charging receptacle is wired incorrectly.

I don't have much experience with the regen II series but I didn't think the charging receptacle should be wired any differently. I've attached a pic of the batteries. You can see the thicker red wire on the upper left battery which is the negative of that battery.

It doesn't make sense why it's wired this way since the main positive on the battery pack on the bottom battery, no where near where the charging receptacle is wired.

Can someone else verify this?

Thanks,

Doug

Take a closer look. I'll bet that #10 red wire is feeding the accessory fuse box for the lights. The charger receptacle is probably hooked up to the battery side of the solenoid right there with the other end of the big red wire.

Yep, that's what it was. I traced it back and it goes to a fuse panel for the lights and horn.

The charging receptacle is tied to the solenoid which then goes to the primary positive from the pack.

All is well. It's just weird having all of the cabling spread out over this monster cart. :)

Thanks!

Doug
