Reverse problem
Have a 1997 48v Club Car DS, (std.) with reverse working part of the time.
Reverse may or may not work when the F/R switch is placed in the reverse position. Forward has no problem. The batteries check good. Voltage reading from both sides of the F/R switch are the same. The solenoid clicks, in both F&R positions. I contacted the closest Club Car dealer, (75 miles away), who told me that "he would need the car for several days to check for the problem". He also said "Going forward all six batteries are used, but reverse only uses three batteries". Being a retired printing equipment service tech, it sounded "kinda fishy" to me. Any and all help will be appreciated. |
