Default 08 precedent rear gear swap out

decided to go with the 6:1 ratio rear end gears, stock is like 12:1 so its quite a jump. Only issues with stock parts is low end tourque so i ordered an alltrax dcx500 to hopefully help that issue some. I live on really flat roads and dont need the low end tourque as much as others. After i put on the taller tires i got it up to 35. be safe, paul

Zoom zoom!

What motor are you running? Is that 35mph with the stock controller?

stock motor, stock controller everything except the gears. but you do lose alot of low end tourque. I talked with eric at D & D motors and he suggested the alltrax dcx500. he said the stock controller only allows 275 amps so the with the alltrax letting 500 amps thru it i would gain alot of the low end back. He also programmed the alltrax for me to my needs/terrain/usage/ etccc. I am also going to 4 awg wire as well. paul
