Default US battery owner question

I just bought (4) 12v US batteries and there is no date code on the pos terminal. My local dealer said they now print them into the case instead of the pos battery post. Can anyone with these same batteries confirm this? They are the 12vXC with the blue case.

Confirmed, a number of companies put date stickers on the side of the battery cases now.

Scotty, confirmed as you saw it with your own eyes? I am going around and around with US as they insists or at least the person I am dealing with (VP of sales) that it's on the pos battery post. I called another local vendor and he said that he also noticed that his 2011/12 inventory does not have it on the PPS post and is stamped into the upper case.

If you have a pic of it I would like to see it.

After close inspection and spraying the terminals with corrosion protection, the date code jumped out. They where just faint and missed them when I first installed them last month... They are D2 with a Y underneath.

I got a set of 12v that had no post marking, they had a case stamp and a sticker.

Interesting as that proves why the other dealer I called had no markings on the POS terminal. There is also a stamp in the top cover that US battery wanted me to give them as this also identifies the year in some way. I didn't write it down since I found the date code on mine.
