True enough Rusty, wife said the same thing last night. My father really enjoys modifications, and has already started talking about what he wants to do with this one, darling wife told him to buy his own, or better yet, buy this one from us and we will go get an electric. So that might happen, just not this year.

Lockman1 - the sales technique used included agreeing with her up front, doing research and reporting back to her what I was hearing (about how the batteries on the Precedent only last 3-5 years) I almost bought an 06 electric. The values on the gas carts hold much better than the electric. I found that for 3k I wanted to stay at I could get an 01 gas DS or a 04 electric. So I looked into new and was shocked they sell for over 7k. When I found the one I eventually purchased, told her all about it, she rejected my choice. The next day I re-explained that I wanted an electric, but this deal was less than dealer cost and it was NEW, and the fact that in 7 years it's still going to be worth 3k, and the fact that we won't have to deal with a $800 battery bill in a couple years, and you'll never hear me ask if you hooked up the charger....
She caved, so far she has not driven it. Hopefully this weekend will be better.
Joke she has going with her "electric" friends is, when a gas cart drives by, they either say loudly: "DID YOU HEAR THAT - MUST BE A GAS", or "WHAT DID YOU SAY?". So I know this will be a joke on me for a while, oh well I have no regrets - so far.

Just recommissioned the Precedent for the year with all new filters, oil, spark plug. It ran just as it did last year, like new. Found a new crack in the fold down windshield, other than that I have no regrets with this choice.
