Wow, glad I found this thread! Absolutely proper build up, excellent work and stunning results! It doesn't look like you spared any expense either! This has got to be in my top 2 favorite build-ups of all time. I hope that mine eventually gets to looking this nice.

I'm bang in the middle of my own Club Car build up and had a couple questions about your steering setup... I noticed your Rack & Pinion at first appears to be a factory unit, but yours has arms coming out both sides of the boots, instead of only the passenger side like other ClubCar racks. Did you weld a bung on the drivers side? And do you notice any bump steer with your current setup?

Also saw the steering joint going to the rack & pinion was not of the typical "just weld on an extension" variety, as it appears yours has a built-in slip shaft. That is a very slick steering setup, can you share where and how that was done?

Steering will be the last part left on my CC build and its coming up right around the corner, so I'm very interested in these two items on your cart!

Very much appreciate you for posting your build for all of us to see!

Thanks for the compliments, After my first build of a 36 volt CC ds, I knew everything that I wanted on my second. Took me a bit over 8 month's to do it right, It was mainly waiting for the extra $$ to not skimp on anything. Could not be more happy with the turn out!

As far as the steering goes, that is the setup from the Allsports long travel lift. It is a direct bolt on to the front frame. Very easy installation, all self contained! The only thing that I don't like is the steering radius. You will lose some turning radius compared to stock, but you get used to it.

Appreciate the quick response. They aren't willing to part out their kit, so its looks like Ill be making mine from scratch (par for the course on a custom build)! Here's my budget build - so far im under $250 - thats including the Honda donor. its my first build, but I now have been bitten by the bug!
