Good point. If I remember the pack voltage needs to be around 36v for the charger to kick on and since your pack voltage is below this it won't activate. You need to take a regular battery charger and charge each battery some until you get the pack voltage at 40v and then try your charger and see if it turns on.

If that doesn't work then you may have another issue as Tom said as it could be your OBC.

When I measure the voltage across the pack my reading is 46 volts. Is that too low for he charger?

It should turn on with 46v. Like Tom said, it may be your OBC?

Okay. So I'll try to force charge the batteries to test against the OBC. On that note, I just tried to reset the OBC and when doing the process, the reverse buzzer never sounded. The cart only clicked once.

How long should I force charge the batteries? Is there a specific order and I assume I should keep the cart set to tow as well.

Thanks.

to see if the charger is working/charging, take a pack reading, then plug the charger in to the cart, and let it charge for about 10 minutes, now take another pack reading wile the charger is on and charging and see if the volts went up any or not, and you will know if its working, sounds like it's not charging

To force charge take the relay out of the charging circuit. It is in the charger.

You guys and this place is awesome. Thanks so much.

I checked the charge before and after a 15 min plug in session and it remained at 46.4 or 23.2 across the pack depending on which way I took a reading.

I am now looking for the fuse and relay in the charger.

Thanks again.

Yea if its me, I would want to make sure the Charger is good before I started measing with the cart. If you had access to another club car you could plug your charger into it and see if it kicks on or not, then you would knoew where to start next, maybe someone else knows another way to test the charger.

Is there a golf course nearby that has club cars? Take it there and see if they can test it for you. That is what I would do.
