Trouble with throttle on a 79 club car
So, when you step on the gas pedal, you have to push it just about all the way to the floor and at the last second, it will snap forward and just about bring the front wheels off the ground. There is no easing into the throttle. This thing will give you whiplash. Does anyone have any ideas as to where or what the problem might be? Thanks

Re: Trouble with throttle on a 79 club car
yes it has 5 solenoids correct? if so the 3 middle ones arn,t working.......the 1st one furthest left is the master nothing works if its no good.....the other 4 going from left to right are speeds......you have only hi speed thats why its whiplashing you...........its either the 3 middle solenoids or the microswitches that activate them and in 99.9% its the solenoids....................replace them your golden and cart moves smooth as silk..........................
